TetraVex is a number-matching tile puzzle. Your goal is to move all nine tiles into the empty board.
Every tile has four numbers: top, right, bottom, and left. The X groove divides the tile into four quadrants so you can clearly see which number belongs to each edge.
Two touching tiles must have matching numbers on the touching edges. For example, if one tile has a 6 on its right side, the tile immediately to its right must have a 6 on its left side.
Tiles cannot be rotated. You must use each tile exactly as it appears.
Drag a tile from the left tray onto the board. If a board space already has a tile, the old tile returns to the tray.
The puzzle is solved when all nine spaces are filled and every touching edge matches.
Top quadrant: number for the top edge.
Right quadrant: number for the right edge.
Bottom quadrant: number for the bottom edge.
Left quadrant: number for the left edge.
