4. Legal Plays
In the basic version, you can play one of two things:
- Same Rank: If the top card is 8♠, you may play any other 8.
- One Rank Lower: If the top card is 8♠, you may play any 7.
This creates a descending chain. For example:
9♣ → 9♥ → 8♦ → 7♠ → 7♣ → 6♥
Your playable cards glow when it is your turn.
6. Rule Sets / Modes
Classic George
The clean beginner mode. Match the same rank or descend by one rank.
This is the best mode for learning.
Royal George
A more dramatic house-rule style version. This mode is reserved for
expanded royal rules like split stacks, Jokers, or special King rules.
Fast George
Same core rules, but the AI moves faster. Use this after you understand
the game.
Chaos George
Adds a suit-matching house rule. In Chaos George, you may play the same
rank, one lower rank, or the same suit.
